Here is an odd situation. I was around the mbks swimming pool area as you can see in the picture before. I saw a car middle of the traffic light junction. A kancil. two guys were outside trying to force the door to open using slim metal.

I wonder how the hell does the guy gets locked out from his own car in middle of the road.

Didn't manage to capture the thing i wanted to show but here are 2 pics anyway.

Probably the battery died at the same time as the alternator. Resulting in the engine shutting in the middle of the road and he had door locked while we went down to check and then locked themselves out of the car.

It is possible to have the engine shutting down in the middle of the road due to poor battery condition and a faulty alternator and there is no charging and no electricity.

It is rare, but that is one of the possibilities. I dont think anyone would be silly enough to stop in the middle of the road and stepped out but having the door locked.

In some cases, when you unlock the door, then open the door too fast and close it again, the lock will automatically go into lock again. It happens fast, but is possible if u alight from the car fast enough (jumping out quickly and slamming the door) This happened with my mothers proton.

this is very new, as far as I am concerned, the locking mechanism in Proton cars are quite harsh and requires a fair amount of fingertip strength to lock and unlock.
