I can listen to all kinds of songs, Japanese, Portugese and even German songs :p but I don't like listening to Chinese songs, esp. those rapping ones! And also those Chinese songs that some parts of the song has English in it, like eg. "baby, wo ai ni". It makes them sound as if their English vocabulary is only limited to 'Baby'

I'm always in conflict with my sister because she loves listening to chinese songs..

Hehehe.....btw you can use KH to refer to me cause K_HAnnAH can be quite troublesome to type with all the different punctuations....

We'll see what happens when I get older.

Some of the singers are really good in English, like Wang Lee Hom, but they still use baby in their lyrics. I think because they think it's cool, although IMO it's lame......eheheh.....

I like one song by David Tao though, I dunno the name, I think it's the latest single of his newest album. (Damn, I'm getting influenced by my sister now, :p)

Although I don't like to admit it, Jay Chou, David Tao and a few other chinese singers are quite good, especially Jay. But the boybands like F4, 5566, Energy are all teruk lah.....

Do any of you like the local English music scenes?

I'm a supporter of the local English music scene, I think that most of the bands in Positive Tone are really good. My favs. are Too Phat and Juliet the Orange. Has anybody heard of Juliet the Orange? I think they are a fantastic duo, although they have only recorded one album way back in 1999 and it seems that they are no more, because haven't heard from them for so long. Very "sayang" lah, Quizzical is one of my all time fav. songs.

I also like Jason Lo, although he isn't from Positive Tone. And he's from Kuching too! Does anybody here know him, or has the slightest connection to him?
