I did it with a RM4 wok from the 2.00 shop. boosted a weak signal from outdoor to indoor from 35% to 60%.

a wok? u mean the steel one?
fuh twice the signal. cool eh? ![]() I got my access point inside my room. the usb signal receiver is on the bottom floor. so the signal pretty much got filtered by walls and lightings i think.

I'll get a photo once i got my new camera.
Yeah it's a steel wok about 10-12 inches across. It's the wok cover actually, they come as a set. By unscrewing the handle, I got a hole in the middle perfect for mounting on a small camera tripod. So now the set up looks like some professional spy equipment.

the only drawback the whole setup i had was the motherboard usb port is v1.1 so the speed wasn't that efficient.
I had to revive the old desktop as a temporary replacement for my recent dead laptop.. Now old dino pentium 3 MMX goes wireless ! ![]()
