Me & my colleagues always pening whenever we want to have gathering or when looking for restaurants for our annual dinner... cos one of my colleagues is malay, and it's not easy to find a nice halal restaurant...

Actually I got a list, but not sure if these restaurants are halal or just serve no pork... correct me if I'm wrong:-

1. Rock Road Seafood
2. Hai Ba Wang Seafood
3. Topspot (this I confirm all stalls are halal, hehehe)
4. My House Steamboat
5. Mitsu Shabu-Shabu

By the way, any other recommended halal restaurants (serving chinese / western food or steamboat, etc.)? I mean apart from hotels & malay food...

Hai Ba Wang is history, but if Banquet's taking over, I think it's still going to be Halal. And of course, Banquet lines of restaurants/cafes are all halal.

Rock Road Seafood is one of the classic super duper yummy nice restaurants out there

Wat?? Taking over by Banquet?? I thought Hai Ba Wang is under renovation only... never expected that...

I used to live opposite Rock Road Seafood, but I hvnt been there for over 10 yrs... would recommend my office to give it a try next time... hehehe...

You can go lunch once in a while. They have light menu, whereby things are quite affordable, for example, ginger beef @ RM6, Cantonese fried kwaytiaw @ RM4.5.
