we used to hear of tremors or small earthquakes in China,Indonesia or the middle east but it didnt cross my mind to witness such a devastating one in the TV -Japan 8.9. i wonder what happened to their tsunami warning system.

notice that human casualty was estimated at 1.000 deaths. if it happened elsewhere, it would have easily reach tens or hundreds of thousands.

exactly downsouth. the alarm system was the most advanced. they even got live TV coverage for tsunami debut on friday. based on the videos, tsunami in japan affected even deep inland, away from the beach. and they come with earthquakes.

the Japanese effected by the tsunami were mostly calm and they were very know-how,from the videos and pictures. the past disaster of earthquakes in other countries saw people gone crazy and looting or riots were rampant. many Americans praise the Japanese for being so steady in handling this devastating moment. even i was almost to tears when in the beginning i saw what most of you saw in the TV. my prayers goes to them,the victims and the homeless.Om..

the quake upgraded to 9.0 at 2.46pm on 3.11 death and unaccounted for reached total about 19k. Very sad indeed.

just yesterday day saw BBC news,one member of the family staying inside their car becoz their house gone and yet still can smile when interview by reporters.it was snowing. they have the Samurai spirit - Salute !
