No TPK project. TPK out of favor these days. It is a Federal project. Project given to PM's wife company who then subcontract out to CM's sister's company who them subcontract it out to a real construction company who then builds the fly over and stick the PM's wife company's stickers on the machinery to make it look like it is the PM's wife's company is doing the construction. Typical stuff.

kuching nowadays everywhere jam like hell. esp jalan wan alwi - jalan setia raja. almost everytime jammed. needless to say jalan simpang 3. the solution in my opinion is not to built flyovers everywhere, cos it can turn into disaster later (for example seoul highway).

the best solution - PUBLIC TRANSPORT. which in kuching, PRIMITIVE!

I wouldn't say Public Transport is the ideal solution either.

yes, that Jalan simpang 3, wan alwi, setia raja and all those around Tabuan Jaya. its the inner roads that are jams. not the main road.

like the Tabuan Jaya area (at the small bridge), massive bottle necks. so many mini cabang cabang into one road.

'wished it was TPK' - yaloh ..now, we starts to appreciate those who can deliver efficiently regardless how much he earn ...

now things become worst .. the efficient one goes bankrupt only left the long 'food chain' handover ...
eg: sewage project causing massive jams and road crack .. until waste oil and tyre puncture , car erosion, dusty roads ...

the longer the 'food chain', the harder the implementation.. why ?? profit is squeezed bit by bit along the chain and the last one suffers .. so the last one cin-cai do, the rakyat like us sufffer loh ... because the MEMBERS of the food chain rarely use the roads, only use it during night function/big luxury dinner , so never experience the massive daylight jam ...

bad becomes worse become worst ...

the last company want to do take the project because 'no fish, prawn also can do' ... because board of directors earn salaries, take in first, deliver see how ....
