Im currently listening to Andy Lau's old song, "glad to be home" and was touched by the lyrics... :~< thats rite.. im home sick now.. now i know the feeling of leaving home.. the anxiety, curiousity, and every so called happening feeling that i brought here with me seems to vanished.. coz no matter how hard i tried, every inches of soil, sand, dosent seem to blend well with me here.. sigh.. so far for studying overseas heh? in short, i just have a feeling that i dont belong here at all...

any other member has similiar experience now or before?? please tell us how it feels to leave home .....

shouldnt you be worrying about assignments and finals now? hah i dun even hav the time to think bout Kuching now but my finals and doing countdown of days left for going back to kuching.

Anyway, just relax loh... I think theres benefit also for being studying abroad. See, when u first reach here, u look for friends, its kinda tough and time consuming though. However, after u get in those gang of friends, then the time is ticking even faster and u wont realised till its the mid of the yr and assignment come pouring and then the finals. then Holiday.... Then after that its fun time to go play with.
Second semester i would say the time is ticking even faster than wat u had experienced in sem1. Sem 2 is holiday lah hahah play everyday. I played till nearly forgotten about my assignment and now the finals are around the corner. then after finals is FUN again and go back KUCHING even more FUN!

For me, being students its FUN..TEST..FUN..TEST if u got
GF/BF around tat would be even more interesting about. So enjoy life being student. : )

Hmm, I got the point of what stevenek3 said. Enjoy the life being a student, no matter where you are. Miles aways or even centimetres away (rumah sebelah)kekeke, you know you gonna come home sooner or later. People whos now involve themselves into working life right now is tough triple times than being a student. People whos now working very far from home more pity i guess, it's not like you gonna have the last semester to count and hooray I am going home. Susah nak request leave cert to go home. Bos tak bagi la.

Still, I understand how the feelings like for being far away from home. Everything must on you, theres no mommy to take care of food n laundry. Sick, no panadol at you bedside. No mummy to merajuk~ I still remember that I got sick, I couldnt even got up from bed dued that I think It was super duper high fever, I slept n burned myself to sleep for as long as 25th hours. My gosh. I brought teary eyes with me to sleep cos that was the time I missed home badly. Luckily, next day I was ok n still available to get up cook maggie mee. HOW PITY!

Thought back, still it's just another strange and very brave independant experience you got during studies life. All the best to all of you miles away from home. You miss home, accomplish your missions with responsible first. Then, come home anytime soon. Awww, you all are such a homey person. Hugs. All the best brothers n sisters.

Hey Guan... since that you travel by Airasia a lot I want to ask for your secret... how can you get such low fares? I checked Airasia today for a KL trip from Kuching to KL on Hari Raya and it's like, RM230 to/fro per person!

Have to book extra early hia? If so, how early usually? Six months?

yes yes very good customer of airasia..
Airasia mostly they got promotion once in a while.
sometime the promotion might last for 2-3 hours. which you need to monitor it at 12 am -3 am. Early hours.

Its best for you to make booking 3-5 months before. I already booked for CNy trip back home. It cost Rm39.90. All next year's flight cost Rm39.90. So get it if you want. If you can't make it, then what to do, you just lost only rm39.90. You can't book last minute flight as it will cost your RM150-200.

But most of the time i get RM69.90 flights. Airasia like to take advantage on holidays. LIke Xmas, Raya, and Cny and school holiday. You will see that on december which is Xmas and school holiday. THe price will not go down 1.. So better to book early. Right now as i know its RM99.90.

They might put "Holiday Promotion" RM69.90!. but its only limited to 5 seats per flight. So its just promotional Tipu.
