not sure about the real figure lar, but according to some sources, there are more than 5000 units of properties at Tabuan Jaya township....with an average of 5 person per unit, i think should be more than 20,000 people??
by the way, anyone knows where to get the latest maps of Kuching?

I mean the whole of Tabuan, tabuan jaya, laru, desa, ..etc etc..

the kuching map, u can get it at mostly any bookstore in kuching. either at the travel corner or at the payment counter there.

Tabuan Jaya township should be including areas like Tabuan Desa, Laru, Dusun, Tabuan Heights, Muara Tabuan....I think....
those people seldom inform the public on the results of those "banci" one.....
most of the maps selling at bookstore are either not updated or only showing city centre only.....I'm looking for the whole Kuching city and the outskirts.....

Hehe for what you're looking for, you need to find some development or contractor's company to get the map. They probably use the map often. I seen those kind of map. Damn big. printed with a plotter. black and white.

Muara Tabuan is somewhere near Sama Jaya Free Industrial Area lar. The green hill that you mean is called Muara Tebas, right?
I think that kind of map can be obtained from the Land and Survey Department. But don't know how much will they charge.

Yes from land survey. If not mistaken it's RM5 per map.
