Just wondering, is there any handheld pc enthusiast in kuching?
Anyone using ? Just wondering how many of you are into these gadgets. If you're one of them, speak up !

I am currently browsing and looking for a decent pda. Top choices are:

windows mobile 2003 os
HP iPAQ hx4700 (rm2088
HP iPAX rx3715 (RM1588)

or

palm os
Palm Lifedrive (4 gig) (RM2068)

these are according to the price in KL.

Both HP iPAQ hx4700 and HP iPAQ rx3715 are pretty good, the rx3715 is currently used by my fiance and it's working really well. However he did meet a friend who had the same model but crashed multiple times.

Another one he suggests is Dell Axim x50v.

ah thanks for the info.
i heard several recommendation on rx3715 and
they told me Dell is a huge competitor for HP.

If both got the same specs, i will not go for Dell, main reason is that they don't have retail outlets and service centers in malaysia. unlike HP, there are whole lot of them.

Yeah I own a HP pda as well, the service is pretty good. As for Dell, I'm not sure if it's related but my parents have Dell computers as servers and when it kept rebooting all the time; they brought in a Dell computer technician and the problem is still there after a week plus. The reason being parts have to be shipped individually (and that takes a day) to try on one by one.

It just gives me a really bad impression on Dell.
