yeh..main point is hw much will b ur budget? For my own opinion, I strongly recommend Canon IXUS i, which I am using now. It costed me RM1300 whn I bought it in January last year. I guess the price has dropped. It is still considered as quite new product for CANON Digicam. What so special about Canon IXUS i is that, it is real small in size n convenient to carry around. Not so clumsy whenever u hold it. Besides, it doesnt hav any unnecessary functions but only video and photos capturing with some techniques. Easy goin camera with nice modern outlook! I like that!

i didn't mean to say Canon Powershot A400 "no good" lah. Its just tat with Rm699 doen't come with any internal memory oh!! 2.2x optical zoom d price you pay you only get camera body + those freebies in the box(battery+manual book).

Canon Powershot A400, multi-colour style but the startup is very slow. Function wise err got to refer to manual books many time lah ha ha..

What about an handy Olympus C370z with easy snap internal 12mb memory, 3.2mp, 3 optical zoom + freebies= 128mb XD card(RM223), extra pouch(RM23), Rm100 Printing Voucher. Just Rm799 you can start taking pretty pictures

Canon digicam not bad especially for mid range or higher range. However for lower range, I would prefer Canon than Nikon. Don't go for Nikon that cost less than RM1000 one, really suckssssssss!!! But if pro series really worth for money and expect price like RM3000++ for pro series. Even u can buy one for like RM20,000+++ hahaahah... that's for really pro used ;p Pro range like Olympus is good too.

Well if u can afford, go for more than RM1000++ one. According to pro photographer, u cannot compare a RM1000 camera with camera cost leass than RM1000. If u want to compare quality, u have to compare within the same price range. If u intended to buy RM1000++ ones, so compare with others that price range RM1000++ too. so on and so forth. Don't ever compare a RM1000++ cam with RM600++ cam. That's "not fair"!

I'm using IXUS I, now it's RM999, I bought it was in S'pore, convert back it's around RM1400 when it first introduced. Good thing about it is light weight, small in size very stylish can be part of ur accessories ahahha.. but what hate is that no optical zoom!!!! Damn... hate that!!

Nikon is for proffesionals only. Semi manuals and some fully manual. Some newspaper photographer will cook you if they ever hear you saying such thing about the cam.

I made some research on the cam,
Here is some detail information about it

Overall rating for the cam is 4/5

Counrty manufacturer doesn't matter.

The language settings in the camera most probably can be switch accordingly. Chinese or english. Or its universal language which is called icons and buttons.

Canon A400, i suggest you dun think about that. I used it in my office and it sux. I get frustrated when trying to use the camera. After using the camera, i feel more frustrated cause of the picture output. It all look good in the mini lcd screen on the cam but on the computer, it all turn out to be hell..

So a400 ? think again. eheheh

What I'm saying Nikon low range is really suck, it's what agree by many ppl, coz many of my friends using Nikon less than RM1000 ones, really sucksss... however those reporters are using mid range or pro range ones, of course different, it's better. Why should I get cook, what i said is true. I didn't say that mid range and pro range they're using sucks... i'm refering to the low range ones.
